About Us

WE BUILD BUSINESSES FOR THE LONG TERM

We are a privately owned group that acquires and develops established businesses.

who we are

Good businesses take years to build

Our approach is based on a simple idea: good businesses take years to build, and they should be owned with the same perspective. We look for companies with strong foundations, good people and a clear reason for customers to choose them.

When we find them, our objective is not to change what already works. It is to understand what has made the business successful, preserve those strengths and provide the support needed for the company to continue developing.

We invest our own capital and take a long-term approach to ownership. We are not working towards a predetermined exit or trying to fit businesses into a fixed investment cycle.

a different kind of ownership

More than agreeing a valuation

It is also about what happens afterwards

For many founders, a business represents far more than its financial results. It may have taken decades to build, with employees who have grown with the company, customers who have been there for years and a reputation earned one relationship at a time.

OUR COMMITMENT

Our aim is to provide a long-term home for good businesses — respecting their identity, maintaining their entrepreneurial character and keeping decisions close to the people who understand the business and its customers.

our group

Independent businesses, stronger together

We believe businesses perform best when they have the freedom to operate. Our companies maintain their own identity, leadership and day-to-day responsibility — joining a group should not mean every business suddenly has to look and operate in the same way.

At the same time, independence does not mean operating alone. Being part of the group provides access to capital, experience and capabilities that may be difficult or inefficient for an individual company to build on its own.

We also want our companies to learn from one another. The purpose of the group is not to create more layers around our companies. It is to give them more options.

how we invest

We invest in what already works

We are not looking to acquire businesses simply because we believe we can run them differently. The companies we are interested in have already created something valuable: customers, expertise, people and a position in their market that has taken time to establish.

Our responsibility as an owner is first to understand those strengths. From there, we work with management to identify where investment or support can make a meaningful difference — accelerating growth, investing in technology or people, entering a new market or acquiring a complementary business. And sometimes the right decision is simply to give a good business the stability and resources to keep doing what it does well.

long-term thinking

Ownership structure matters

It changes the decisions you make

Management can pursue opportunities that take time to develop, and short-term fluctuations can be viewed in context. When a business joins our group, we are thinking about what it can become over the long term — not who might buy it from us next.

When there is no predetermined date by which a business needs to be sold, investments can be evaluated over years rather than quarters.

Our ambition

To be a good long-term owner of exceptional businesses

We are building a group of high-quality businesses with the potential to endure, and we are deliberately patient about how we do that. The number of companies we own is less important than the quality of the businesses we acquire, the people running them and what we are able to build together over time.
